Lightwave 11.5 – Retopology Technique Tutorial


This tutorial looks at a few of the new tools in LightWave 3D 11.5. Using Tweak I demonstrate creating a flat, low poly mesh using Tweak and then progress in part 2 to shrink wrap this mesh to hires background object using Heat Shrink.

Retopology Technique part 1

After using Tweak to create a flat, low poly mesh, part 2 then progress’ to shrink wrap this mesh to a hires background object using Heat Shrink. There are currently some gotcha’s when using the Heat Shrink Tool, so the tutorial demonstrates a work around.
